ACCEPTABLE AND RESPONSIBLE AI USE POLICY

Last updated:4 September 2026

1. Purpose and scope

This Acceptable and Responsible AI Use Policy governs CVin’s AI-assisted career features, prompts, uploads, outputs, estimates and related interfaces for individual users. It supplements the Terms and Privacy Policy. Mandatory law prevails where it grants a right or imposes an obligation that cannot be changed by this Policy.

2. What CVin AI does

CVin may help draft or improve CV content, suggest professional-profile text, analyse a user-provided job description, estimate alignment, generate interview practice, identify development areas and provide general career guidance. These functions assist the user; they do not replace the user’s judgement, professional advice, an employer’s assessment or an official recruitment decision. CVin is not an employer or recruitment agency.

3. AI processing and privacy

When the user chooses an AI feature, CVin may transmit the minimum selected content and instruction needed to approved AI processors to generate the requested result. The Privacy Policy describes the relevant purposes, categories, providers, processing locations, retention and rights. CVin does not use user CVs, prompts or outputs to train a CVin general-purpose model. Provider use for general model training must be disabled or contractually prohibited before a provider route is enabled. Users must not submit unnecessary sensitive data, credentials, secrets or another person's data without authority.

4. User review and truthful information

The user must review, edit and approve every output before relying on, publishing or submitting it. The user remains responsible for the truth, completeness, tone and lawfulness of CVs, profiles, applications and interview statements. AI must not be used to invent work, education, certifications, achievements, skills, references, identity or qualifications, or to conceal a material fact misleadingly.

5. Permitted uses

A user may use CVin for genuine personal career development, including drafting and editing the user’s own professional materials, comparing a profile with a job description, practising interviews, identifying development needs, organising a job search and generating ideas the user will independently verify. Use must remain lawful and within displayed plan and rate limits.

6. Illegal, harmful or abusive use

The Service must not be used to create, request, upload, transform, distribute or facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, hateful, exploitative, defamatory, sexually abusive or violently extremist content or conduct, or material that promotes physical harm or serious wrongdoing. It must not be used to evade a legal duty, facilitate a scam or target a person or protected group with abuse or unlawful discrimination.

7. Fraud, impersonation and manipulation

A user must not impersonate a person or organisation; submit a CV, profile, photograph, reference or application in another person’s name without authority; fabricate employer communications; manipulate screening dishonestly; create deceptive endorsements or credentials; or use CVin to mislead an employer, candidate, educational institution, public body or other party.

8. Security and platform integrity

A user must not probe, scan, attack or bypass security; introduce malware; attempt prompt injection to override system or provider safeguards; extract system prompts, model information, secrets or credentials; scrape or bulk-download without permission; reverse engineer except where mandatory law permits; automate requests outside approved interfaces; evade rate, plan, suspension or safety limits; or use multiple accounts to circumvent controls.

9. Intellectual property and confidential material

Users must respect copyright, trademarks, database rights, confidentiality and other rights. A user must not upload or request reproduction, transformation or distribution of protected or confidential material without permission or another lawful basis. CVin may restrict an output, remove material or request evidence of authority when a credible rights or confidentiality concern arises.

10. No significant decisions about others

CVin’s individual-user features must not be used as the sole or determinative basis to hire, reject, rank, discipline, dismiss, compensate or otherwise make a significant employment decision about another person. Match scores, keyword checks and recommendations are for the user’s self-development and job-search support.

11. Accuracy and hallucinations

AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent or fabricated, including job facts, market information, suggested skills, dates and references. The user must verify material information using authoritative and current sources. CVin does not guarantee that an output will satisfy an applicant-tracking system, recruiter, employer, platform rule or legal requirement.

12. Fairness and bias

AI and job-related data may reflect historical, linguistic, cultural or statistical bias. CVin seeks to reduce unreasonable bias but cannot guarantee identical or bias-free results. Users must not ask the Service to discriminate unlawfully or infer sensitive traits for employment purposes. Suspected biased or culturally inappropriate output may be reported to support.

13. ATS, matching and career notices

Career-coach and interview content is general educational support, not legal, financial, medical, psychological or guaranteed professional advice. ATS checks and match percentages are estimates based on available text, selected criteria and model behaviour; they are not employer scores, verified vacancies or promises of an interview or job. Users should consider genuine capability and official employer information, not optimise mechanically for a score.

14. CVin safeguards and enforcement

CVin may apply proportionate input and output safeguards, usage limits, security controls, abuse detection, approved-provider controls, quality testing, event logging and human review where needed to secure the Service, investigate a report or meet legal duties. CVin does not pre-review every prompt or output. It may warn, block, remove, limit, suspend or terminate access proportionately for a breach, fraud, security threat, harm or legal requirement. Safeguards reduce risk but do not guarantee that every problematic output will be detected.

15. Reporting and review

A user may report unsafe, inaccurate, biased, rights-infringing or otherwise problematic AI output to support@cvin.com.sa. The report should identify the feature, approximate time, issue and relevant output without including unnecessary sensitive data. A user affected by an account action may request review through the same channel. CVin will assess the report fairly, subject to identity, security and legal checks.

16. Changes, contact and language

CVin may update this Policy for legal, service, provider or risk changes. Material changes are notified through an appropriate channel where required.
