TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last updated:4 September 2026

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern individual access to and use of the CVin website, account and digital career services (the "Service"). The user accepts the Terms by taking the affirmative acceptance action presented at account creation or purchase. CVin records the accepted version, time and account or session reference. If the user does not agree, the user must not create an account, purchase a plan or use the Service.

2. Legal operator and contact

CVin is owned and operated by Quwa alihtirafiyya Company For Information Technology, Unified National Number 7038348160. National Address: Building No. 7812, Wadi Malha Street, Al Nada District, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Customer support: support@cvin.com.sa. General and privacy enquiries: info@cvin.com.sa. Email is CVin’s published support channel.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for persons aged 18 years or older who have legal capacity to enter into a digital-service agreement. A user must provide accurate registration information and use the Service only for the user’s own lawful purposes unless CVin expressly authorises another use in writing.

4. Accounts and security

The user is responsible for keeping sign-in details confidential, using accurate account information and notifying support promptly of suspected unauthorised access. The user must not share an account, impersonate another person, bypass access controls or create accounts to avoid a suspension, plan limit or security measure. CVin may require proportionate verification to protect an account.

5. Service description

CVin provides digital tools that may help users create and improve CVs and professional profiles, analyse job descriptions, estimate compatibility, practise interviews and receive general career guidance. Feature availability, limits, supported formats and outputs may differ by plan, device, language and technical capacity, as displayed in the Service.

6. AI and user review

Some features use artificial intelligence. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased or unsuitable for a particular purpose. The user must review and verify each output before relying on, publishing or submitting it. CVin does not guarantee an interview, job, employer response, applicant-tracking-system result or other career outcome. The AI Use Policy forms part of these Terms.

7. Plans, prices and payment

Free, trial and paid plans may be offered. The applicable plan, features, usage limits, price, billing frequency, taxes and any recurring-payment terms are shown on the subscription or checkout screen before confirmation. Prices are not fixed by these Terms and may change for a future purchase or renewal after the notice required by applicable law. Payment may be processed by an approved third-party provider; CVin does not require the user to send full card details to support.

8. Recurring subscriptions and cancellation

If a plan renews automatically, the renewal frequency and charge are disclosed before purchase. The user may stop future renewal through Account → Subscription → Cancel Subscription, where available, or by contacting support@cvin.com.sa from the account email. Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not normally reverse a completed charge or remove access already paid for, unless the Purchase and Refund Policy or mandatory law provides otherwise.

9. Refunds and consumer rights

Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refund requests are governed by the Purchase, Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy and applicable Saudi law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a mandatory consumer right.

10. Acceptable use

The user must not use the Service unlawfully or to defraud, harass, harm, discriminate, impersonate, misrepresent qualifications, infringe rights, expose confidential information, distribute malware, probe security, scrape at scale, reverse engineer except where mandatory law permits, circumvent plan or safety limits, or interfere with the Service or another user. More detailed AI-related restrictions appear in the AI Use Policy.

11. User content and required licence

The user retains ownership of lawful content the user provides. The user grants CVin and its approved processors a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, format, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure and support the features selected by the user, meet legal duties and exercise rights under these Terms. The user confirms that the user has authority to provide the content and any third-party personal data included in it.

12. CVin intellectual property

CVin, its software, interfaces, branding, templates and original service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Subject to these Terms and the plan selected, CVin gives the user a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service. No ownership right is transferred. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ terms.

13. Third-party services and links

The Service may link to or depend on payment, authentication, AI, hosting, job-board, employer or other third-party services. A third party controls its own service, availability and terms. CVin is not responsible for an external site or an employer’s decision or conduct, but this does not remove responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded for CVin’s own acts.

14. Privacy and cookies

The Privacy Policy explains CVin’s processing of personal data, including AI processing, providers, international transfers, retention and rights. The Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies. These policies are incorporated by reference where applicable, but consent for a purpose that legally requires consent remains separate and optional.

15. Suspension and termination

CVin may proportionately restrict a feature, suspend access or close an account where reasonably necessary to address an actual or suspected breach, fraud, security risk, unlawful content, harm, non-payment or a binding legal request. Urgent action may occur without advance notice. Where lawful and safe, CVin will explain the reason and allow the user to contact support for review. The user may close the account as described in the Privacy Policy.

16. Availability and changes

CVin seeks to provide a reliable Service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, provider failure, security action, force majeure or technical limitations may affect access. CVin may improve, replace or discontinue a feature. Where a material change adversely affects a paid plan, CVin will provide appropriate notice and any remedy required by applicable law.

17. Disclaimers

The Service provides general digital career assistance and is not legal, financial, medical, psychological, immigration or regulated recruitment advice. Except for rights and obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. The user remains responsible for professional statements, submissions, decisions and verification of material information.

18. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, CVin is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunity, an employer's decision, reliance on an output that the user did not verify, or a third-party service failure outside CVin's reasonable control. This limitation does not apply to CVin's fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, breach of a mandatory statutory duty or failure to provide a purchased service where applicable law provides a remedy.

19. User responsibility for claims

To the extent permitted by law, a user is responsible for losses or third-party claims arising directly from the user’s unlawful content, infringement, fraud, unauthorised use of another person’s data or material breach of these Terms. This clause does not require a consumer to compensate CVin for CVin’s own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.

20. Electronic communications and evidence

The user agrees to receive service, security, transaction and legal notices electronically through the account, website or registered email. CVin may keep reliable electronic records of acceptance, policy version, purchases, cancellation and notices as evidence of the transaction and compliance. Marketing remains subject to the user’s separate choice.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A user may first contact support@cvin.com.sa for an informal resolution. This does not prevent the user from using a competent authority, consumer-protection channel or court with jurisdiction. No provision restricts a right or forum that mandatory law preserves.

22. Updates, severability and language

CVin may update these Terms for legal, security, provider or service changes. A material change is notified through an appropriate channel before it takes effect where required. It does not retroactively reduce rights attached to a completed purchase. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent possible. Arabic and English are intended to have the same meaning; if an inconsistency remains, Arabic prevails to the extent permitted by law. Version 1.2 is effective from 1 September 2026, was last updated on 4 September 2026 and is available at https://cvin.com.sa/terms.
